The children we help live in Phoenix, Arizona, and range from 6 months to 16 years
in age. Most children come from single-parent families with 5-6 siblings. Some live
in government-subsidized housing but are well loved and very happy. They are very
appreciative for the smallest things that you and I may take for granted. Each child
is unique in his/her own way and eager to explore everything new they are exposed
to. Like any group of children, some excel in school even reaching the honor roll
while others struggle just to get through the grade. I wish everyone could meet
these children; they are so innocent and happy with life. Some of these kids have
never had religion in their lives and have now become baptized and regularly attend
church.
